Hello ,

What experiences you make with BIOS 3703 for Z710 Asus Maximus VIII Board ?
In my case i feel that my P3Dv4 Flightsimultor have more stutters and hangs sometimes.

For my special Feeling the BIOS 3201 was the best one .

Can it be the the newest BIOS have Problems ?

Thanks
Michael

Hey I have the same exact issue as you. Since updating to 3703 on my Hero Alpha, games have random stuttering without any FPS drops. All was smooth before. Now when there are many things happening in a game at once, audio/mouse/game stutters for a second, sometimes 3. I even tried giving my OC more voltage but didn't change anything.

I noticed too that I get more stuttering when I have a Steam game downloading while playing a singleplayer game. This wasn't the case before.

I may try further tweaking my BIOS (it was stable before on previous BIOS, yes I understand different BIOS may need different settings), otherwise I will revert back and make sure the stuttering is gone and could safely say the BIOS was a part of it. I wish it were more stable and more consistent 😞

I'm on a 4.6OC at 1.37v (was at 1.34v), and LLC 5.
Z790 Asus Hero Maximus on 0816 BIOS (0914 and 1202 crashes for me on XMP I), Intel 13900k stock clock, Asus 4090 Strix OC edition, FF3D532G720 Teamgroup Ram running XMP I, 16gb x 2, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB x 2, Seasonic VERTEX GX 1200W, Win 11 Pro 64, Deepcool LS720 AIO, NZXT H7 Flow. Comfortably using Armoury Crate for updates/fan xpert.

Yes I've experienced the same. It's the first time I've had any issues with a BIOS since purchasing the board. Regressed back to 3504 and all ok. Perhaps it is something to do with the CPU microcode.

nettech99, I praise you for confirming that fixed it for you. I had no stuttering on 3504, but I do get audio desync on youtube and windows media players, or VLC, etc, so I actually just reverted back to 3201 and all the stuttering is GONE!!!!! Yes!!!!! I confirm your confirmation!!! I reverted back further 'cause I'm seeing if it fixes my audio desync lol. I'll give it a week or so.

Hope this information helps anyone else. I've read much about 3703 and it's just a big red flag at this point
