Is anyone able to run DDR4 4133MHz ram in the ROG Maximus IX Extreme

Im having trouble getting my G.Skill TridentZ RAM to clock over 2190MHz. So Im just wondering if anyone is running 4133 on this board.

    Grah1te,
Yes I have ran 4133 on my IX Apex, my board is currently in the box so I can't give any details
you need to post all your hardware for anyone to give you a hand and testing methods you use etc.
Have you tried the presets in the bios?
    Where are you reading 2190mhz?

WoW hey thanks for getting back to me guy's. Sorry didn't post up the specs. I just wanted to know if anyone was actually able to run 4133 on this board stable.
Anyway here ya go. Been some time since Ive did any overclocking so Im pretty rusty and no pro at it either. CPU is liquid cooled on a custom loop by EK. If you need
anything else just let me know.

    Thanks much fellas.

4133 on the Extreme will not be possible for all configurations and/or CPU. The Apex is much better suited. You will need to apply the XMP profile underneath the AI Tuner menu to apply the kits rated speed, voltage and timings for 4133.

She wont boot when XMP is enabled. Guess Im going to have to do this manually and a little bit at a time until I get it stable. Sure glad I got such a killer deal on the RAM.

    Thanks man.

    Graph1te,
What memory kit do you have? In the memory timing settings of the bios are memory presets, what presets are available that best match your kit 2X8GB new Samsung, 4X8 new Samsung, etc. The memory presets can either get better results at a little lower speed with tighter timings than XMP or are a very good start to tweak from if you have a little experience with timings.
These presets are part of what you are paying for when you purchase the top ROG boards "the best bios in the business"

    The RAM specs are:

    G.Skill TridentZ RGB
    F4-4133C19D-16GTZR
    DDR4-4133 PC4-33000
    8192MBX2
    CL19-19-19-19-39 1.35v

Only one profile available in bios to use for xmp and the system won't boot when used. I think it's like you say I'm going to have to do it all manually until I find the sweet spot. Other problem is because it's been so long since Ive done this there's going to be a bit of learning curve.
