I have hit on a problem and looking for advice relating to the onboard usb headers, the spec says it has 4 usb mid board? Well I can’t find them and there’s no mention in the manual*for assembly,
Problem is, I have case usb 3 and usb2 leads, kraken x62 usb and 2 sets of Corsair rgb dual light loop fans, so need 5 usb headers in total.
*I understand I can buy a usb module ? But this from what I can gather is for extra external rear usb’s.
I have hit a mental block, so if anyone can enlighten me on if or how to get this sorted I would be truly thankful.

At the minute I just have the case usb3 plugged in and the kraken, the fans I just have on kraken header but no rgb.
It’s almost like the manual was for a different board as in even some of the headers are in a different place.*

@ G75rog , as I said it states 4 mid board, I must be missing something! I scoured the book and board and there are only 3 , two at the side and one at the bottom,

I had asked this previously. There is only 1 USB 2.0 header on the board that is capable of 2 connections. So only one physical header. The manual is a bit confusing in this area I think. I have the NZXT XT USB expansion and it works well with my needs. I have the front case ports (2 plugs) on my PC plugged in as well as a Corsair commander, Hue + and the Corsair H115i.

The info clearly states ports not headers. As such both the listed specifications and the manual are correct.

You were not the only one that misread it, a number have, even the though the manual is technically correct. 🙂
