    Hi maungers,

I have the same issue. My system used to always start up in the Standard setting however since disconnecting the adapters and leads etc (as it's mainly used at a desk all day) it has more often than not; started starting up intermittently in the Extreme setting. Obviously not good; as it's causing unnecessary wear on the machine when it really doesn't need to be in the extreme setting.
