Maximus vii Gene and corsair H110i backplate doesn't fit...

The corsair says it's compatible with 1150 but the back bracket doesn't line up. Using a Maximus vii Gene, i7-4790k and a corsair h110i.

What am I missing here? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!



EDIT: did you know the ends of the bracket can slide to adjust? Lol of course. It's too early for me I guess. 🙂
