Its just the a ME Update tool?

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-RAMPAGE-VI-EXTREME/HelpDesk_BIOS/

Can i use this with older bios version without problems ?
And doesn't impact on performance like the bios 1102?

Atm i would stay @BIOS 1004.

Thanks!

EDIT: the firmware is after updating: 11.11.50.1436 (Asus did not labeled it right on there website).

my friend, you're mistaking concepts
ME version is: 11.10.0.1287 -> This is the firmware
Intel(R) Management Engine Interface 11.7.0.1057 -> This is the driver

Look at the link from Asus:

Version 11.7.0.1057 is a firmware update:

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-RAMPAGE-VI-EXTREME/HelpDesk_BIOS/

ME Update tool
Intel has identified security issue that could potentially place impacted platform at risk. Use ME Update tool to update your ME.
*We suggest you update ME Driver to the latest Version 11.7.0.1057 simultaneously.

And this is the new driver:

Version 11.7.0.1057
2018/02/0881.17 MBytes
DRV_MEI_Intel_Consumer_TP_W10_64_VER11701057

can be downloaded here :
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-RAMPAGE-VI-EXTREME/HelpDesk_Download/

But i cant run the updater it shows error:

Cant open AsIO.sys !! (2)

Ok i get it worked:

1. running cmd as admin:
2. got into the folder /FW

FWUpdLc164.exe -F ME.bin

running and waiting until finshed:

the firmware is now: 11.11.50.1436 (Asus did not labeld it right on there website).

Installing ME driver Version 11.7.0.1057 is needed too because some services are old (shows the intel dection tool).

Rerunning the Intel test tool show still one error (check the no firewall block the tool):

creating new keys has errors contact yor system vendor

(translate it from german to english)

Edit: now it works

i delete the keys in the bios - but the message appears too.

it looks the my glasswire firewall blocks the tool to create or downloading new keys from the internet.

First i got the error message and did nothing changing go back to the pc run the intel tool again - no error message anymore ^^

Maybe the INTEL TMP Provisioning Service must have access to the internet (this connection i never had before).

I think they mislabeled the driver too. Mine is xxx.1065 not xxx.1057.

Thank you Asus.I am glad to finally get the updated firmware and be able to run the Intel-SA-00086-GUI tool and have it finally say "This System is not Vulnerable. It has already been patched."
