    ASUS succeeds in offering us a machine with a nice look and a very good grip... ASUS is ahead on many points: the screen in particular, the connectivity with the WiFi 6E or the UHS-II card reader, the Gen4 SSD for those who want to put in something really heavy, and eventually the XG Mobile port if you want to turn the Ally into a real fixed monster.

    ASUS takes the (winning) formula of the Steam Deck and improves it in almost every aspect. The grip is excellent, the device more compact and less heavy. The very good screen makes all the difference, and the Z1 Extreme not only delivers impressive performance for the size, but also keeps heat and noise under control thanks to the excellent cooling implemented by ASUS.
