Performance-wise, on our default Aftershock cooler, at 125W, the idle temperatures remained around 51°C, with load at around 77°C. Gaming temperatures remained around 70°C. On unlimited, the CPU obviously hit the thermal cap, though this applies for all the coolers we tested due to how hot the Intel 13th-gen chip runs. Because it kept hitting the thermal cap, I could only get a peak of around 280W at load. On the Asus ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB, at the 125W cap, load temperatures were much lower, at around 65°C. Idle temperatures also dropped to around 45°C. When we set the TDP cap to unlimited, the chip was able to hit a peak of around 305W. As for the Asus ROG Ryujin III 360 ARG Extreme, the highest temperature was 61°C with a 125W cap. Idle temperatures remained similar. With an unlimited TDP cap, we saw a peak of around 311W. It's a slight improvement over the non-extreme version, but those looking to tweak out the best performance from their systems will appreciate every little gain.

ASUS ROG RYUJIN III 360 ARGB Extreme is definitely an interesting AiO. If you don't look at the price. It is extreme (=very high). ASUS tried to make the most powerful 360mm AiO on the market equipped with a great large IPS LCD on the block and, most importantly, with the ability to cool the area around the CPU. And it definitely succeeded.
