(2)To put it simply, the ROG XREAL R1 makes the most sense when used with something like the ROG Ally X. The handheld itself already offers a very capable base for gaming on the go, but its 7-inch display still has its limits, and that’s exactly where these glasses take the experience to another level. Instead of a small panel, you get a massive virtual screen that turns the Ally X into a much more comfortable and private gaming station, without having to carry a laptop or look for a monitor.
