ROG goes all-in on ATX 3.0: get your free 16-pin cable today
Power supplies are at the heart of all gaming machines, built to provide your system with clean and stable power for years and years. As we continue to look to the future of gaming PSU design, ROG is proud to announce that all Loki, Strix Gold Aura Edition, and TUF Gaming Gold power supplies will natively support the ATX 3.0 standard. That means that every PSU will come with a native 16-pin to 16-pin 12VHPWR cable to pair with current and upcoming graphics cards. For owners of select current models, we are also offering a free native 2x8-pin to 16-pin 12VHPWR cable to keep your build looking as sleek as possible and fully compatible with the graphics cards of tomorrow.
If you’re on the lookout for a new ATX 3.0 power supply, ROG and ASUS TUF Gaming offer a plethora of options for every budget:
- The ROG Loki line was created with the small form factor (SFF) community in mind. While case size can be limited in a SFF build, we wanted to make sure that the available amount of power was not, so Loki PSUs deliver up to 1000W of power in an SFX-L form factor.
- New ROG Strix Gold Aura power supplies deliver up to 1200W of ATX 3.0 power while oozing ROG styling. Available in classic black with a dose of RGB for ROG’s “Fearless Eye” logo, Strix Aura power supplies effortlessly balance performance and style.
- Our ASUS TUF Gaming Gold power supply lineup is 80 Plus Gold rated and is available from 750W all the way up to a monstrous 1200W capacity. For builders with more of a no-frills approach, TUF Gaming Gold power supplies have you covered.
...and more to come in the near future. All ROG ATX 3.0-compliant power supplies come with a native 16-pin PCIe cable, giving you up to 600W of power available over a single connection for the latest and greatest graphics cards.

If you're the owner of an older ROG-branded power supply, you're in luck as well. Gamers who have purchased an eligible ROG PSU and an ASUS GeForce RTX™ 40 Series graphics card can receive a free 2x8-pin to 16 pin PCIe cable from ROG right now, giving you the same build flexibility as our next generation PSUs and ensuring full compatibility with the graphics cards of the future.
