It is precisely the combination of modular design, easy disassembly, and hot-swap functionality that clearly sets the Morph 96 apart from traditional gaming keyboards and clearly targets the custom keyboard scene.

Overall, the ROG Strix Morph 96 Wireless makes a very favourable impression and strikes a remarkably good balance between a gaming keyboard and a modding-friendly 96% layout.

ASUS ROG Strix Morph 96 Wireless – a 96% form factor mechanical keyboard that actively encourages users to disassemble it: it comes with a Torx wrench in the box, the top plate is removed with five screws, and without voiding the warranty, you get access to the gasket mount design, silicone layers, and hot-swappable switches. ROG NX V2 Snow linear switches, a polycarbonate positioning plate, and configuration without Armoury Crate.

This is a keyboard that you can open, change, and customize for yourself without having to be a hardcore enthusiast. Everything inside is made so that you can change, move, and adapt it.

ROG Strix Morph 96 wireless – it builds on performance and customizability, but comes with inexplicable compromises.

It is an excellent choice for those who want more than just a mechanical keyboard with RGB —they want a more thoughtfully designed model suitable for a variety of scenarios.

It is their attempt to make a keyboard that suits regular users, since it has everything needed, while also being attractive to enthusiasts because it's easily customizable.

MALAYSIA 09/30/2026MoreThis is a keyboard for those who want to gradually fine-tune their device to perfection—take it apart, replace the switches, add their own layers of sound insulation, and install different keycaps—all without limiting the use of the Cherry profile.

UKRAINE 08/25/2026MoreWhen you put these two keyboards side by side, it is immediately clear that Asus didn't create two variants of the same thing, but rather two quite different approaches to what a gaming keyboard should do. The Falchion ACE 75 HE is a sharp specialist focused on speed, precision, and competitive gaming, while the Strix Morph 96 Wireless feels like a more thoughtful all-rounder that bets on wireless freedom and a more refined presentation.
