The ROG Xbox Ally succeeds in its goal: offering AAA gaming on the go with an experience close to that of an Xbox, thanks to the Ryzen Z2 A, the 7" 120 Hz screen and the Game Pass ecosystem on Windows 11 in full-screen mode. Performance is on point, heat dissipation is under control, and connectivity (including Thunderbolt 4) opens the door to docking and even eGPU. ... For those who want a ‘console PC’ without compromising on power, the Xbox Ally is the obvious choice.

The ROG Xbox Ally is truly a next-level handheld console.

At the price of RM2,699, I think it’s a good device – especially if you play some not-so-demanding games like… let’s say metroidvanias like Ender Lilies or Ender Magnolia, or platformers like Yooka-Replayee.

Where the Xbox Ally truly shines is low-TDP gaming. If you love chill games like Stardew Valley, Hades, or Hollow Knight, the battery life here is genuinely impressive.

The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally features a comfortable design and excellent brightness, delivering an impressive content-viewing experience. It’s lightweight and equipped with powerful speakers that provide an immersive gaming experience.
