Styled in metallic Eclipse Gray or pearlescent Moonlight White, the Zephyrus G14 is a stunner. Its clean aesthetic travels easily from LAN parties to lecture halls, with fine-tuned detailing that puts it in a class of its own. Precision CNC milling creates 6,536 perforations across the aluminum lid for a distinctive dot matrix design. Honeycomb reinforcements add strength with minimal material to keep the chassis light. The magnesium-aluminum alloy deck is fingerprint resistant to keep it looking fresh day to day.

The striking dot matrix design on the lid is made with a precision CNC milling process that creates 6,536 perfectly spaced perforations in an incredibly small surface area. The unique pattern is stylish yet subtle, with the diameter of the openings carefully chosen to emit just the right amount of light from the 1,215 mini-LEDs that lie below on the optional AniMe Matrix™ display.

We are not going to beat around the bush, we liked the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14. He is really nomadic, overpowered and able to run everything that will be installed on his SSD. We weren't expecting so much from the AMD Ryzen 9 and what a surprise in the end...The Zephyrus G14 is really the middle ground between a mobile machine and a gaming PC.

Through the ROG Zephyrus G14 ASUS and AMD submit to us an excellent proposal: that of an ultra compact machine, very powerful and endowed with sufficient autonomy to be used not as a simple gaming laptop, but as a versatile laptop , effective on a daily basis. The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401I variant is an interesting proposition. Like its siblings, it blends a light (for a gaming laptop) and compact chassis, a sufficiently beefy array of hardware for tackling modest AAA gaming, one of the best speakers setups we’ve seen in a gaming laptop and great battery life too to make it one of the best slim gaming laptops that money can buy.

if we look at the ROG Zephyrus G14 objectively, I have to say this could potentially out-manoeuvre many other creator series laptops. You see, in terms of the design, it is classy and minimalist. It doesn’t weight a tonne yet packs a lot of performance under its hood.

I knew the Zephyrus G14 was a good laptop, but I had no idea that much. This is, without a doubt and an exaggeration, the best truly mobile computer I've ever tested. I really liked ROG Zephyrus G14 during testing, it was a really pleasant surprise for me. It has really high performance, quality cooling, great battery life, good port equipment and is also perfectly portable. I also appreciate easy maintenance, in addition it can be charged via USB-C. An eight-core processor with such performance at this size is really not common.

It is the best 14”gaming laptop we have ever had the opportunity to test. It combines extreme computing power with excellent gaming performance, compact dimensions, low weight and unexpectedly long battery life. The chassis is decent and could immediately belong to a working laptop. If we add the perfect keyboard and 120Hz IPS display, excellent port equipment and top sound, we practically have nothing missing on this laptop.

It is perfectly designed that everything was really thought of in its production. Although processor reaches a temperature of 50 degrees even in the idle state, this doesn't really have any external impact. Solid aluminum chassis does not overheat, fans are really quiet and the lifting design is functional. Speakers, which every user will surely appreciate, are truly breathtaking, as is the connectivity of notebook. For us, Zephyrus G14 is clearly approved for purchase to play e-sports titles.

ROG Zephyrus G14 is not just my new favorite between gaming laptops, but laptops overall. This is simply a very powerful machine in an easy-to-carry body without much cons. There's a color accurate 120Hz display, a Ryzen 7 processor that beats even the Intel Core i9 and the closest competition, the GTX 1660 Ti graphics that easily pull even the latest games, super keyboard for typing, a fingerprint reader or a very good sound.
