A good motherboard that would've been an easy recommendation if it was priced right but its lack of top-shelf features and choice to go incomplete features make it a tough recommendation for those that want to maximize the board. Other than those people, it's a solid gaming motherboard that's built to last, I just can't push myself to outright slap a recommendation due to the price.

For the review of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, we set up a top-notch test platform to maximise its capabilities. The processor was mounted on a ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO motherboard (with the new Gaming Turbo mode), equipped with two banks of 6000MHz DDR5 RAM. Cooling was handled by a 360mm ASUS ROG RUYJIN 3 Extreme cooling system, ideal for keeping temperatures under control during heavy loads.
