I found myself increasingly liking ASUS’ Gladius the more I used it. It’s odd how this mouse manages to be unique, even though it looks and feels exceptionally familiar. Yea, it’s an enthusiast piece of technology, matching the other ROG branded hardware. Despite that, it’s still impressive to see how much ASUS improved its peripherals since last generation. Gladius is built from the ground-up. It follows a completely different concept and design philosophy from the GX1000, and the results are impressive. Overall, this is one of the best optical mice on the market, with some unique features. It also considers its audience smart enough to make full use of what it has to offer.
