Custom heatsink and
improved airflow design

Inside the Swift OLED PG27AQDM lies a custom heatsink and an innovative internal component layout designed to draw heat away from the OLED panel to minimize the likelihood of image burn-in. Thanks to these features and a large top air vent, the Swift OLED PG27AQDM is able to dissipate heat more efficiently, so it operates at 5% lower average temperatures compared to other 27-inch OLED gaming monitors, yet it also boasts a 17%* increase in brightness compared to the previous generation OLED panel.

Intelligent voltage
optimization

The Swift OLED PG27AQDM uses a smart algorithm coded for the panel to optimize the voltage applied to each individual pixel, based on the monitor’s temperature. This maintains uniformity across the OLED panel and helps to protect it from burn-in.

SCREEN PROTECTION

Users can protect their OLED PG27AQDM by some functions including screen saver, pixel cleaning, screen move, etc.
  • Screen Saver

    This function will automatically dim the screen after a period of inactivity.

  • Pixel Cleaning

    This function recalibrates the screen when the monitor has been active for a period of several hours. The process will take approximately 6 minutes. It will activate automatically upon turning off the monitor.*

  • Screen Move

    This function slightly shifts pixel locations periodically to help prevent burn-in. There are several movement levels to choose from.

  • Adjust Logo Brightness

    This function allows the monitor to automatically detect static logos onscreen and reduce their brightness to correct for potential picture quality issues.

*Do not unplug the power cord during this time, or else pixel cleaning will be interrupted.

Uniform brightness

When activated, the ROG-exclusive Uniform Brightness setting within the OSD menu decreases peak brightness to keep levels consistent for better viewing, even when changing the size of bright white windows. It also makes marathon gaming sessions much more comfortable on the eyes.

DisplayWidget Center

New DisplayWidget Center software lets users easily change monitor settings and OLED-related functions via an intuitive interface, using a mouse ― so there’s no need to access the OSD menu.

A special matte micro-texture coating on the surface of the display significantly reduces glare. This allows the Swift OLED PG27AQDM to display more accurate colors, free of distracting screen glare.
