Phoebus Control Box

The control box houses more than just a volume and mute button, it has integrated 3.5mm headphone and microphone ports for the Orion or Vulcan headsets (with far better quality cabling than your front-panel connectors on your case).

The control box even integrates a pair of speakers too. This either analyses the environmental sound and compares it to the headset microphone to provide on-the-fly noise cancellation, or, for those without headset microphones it can just act as the microphone itself via the array mics.
