... its unique modular design and ability to be used both wired and wireless (via a dongle though) also makes it one of the most durable gamer keyboards to buy. It's going to be very difficult to get tired of this one as it can adapt to any situation, and as it meets the most demanding requirements you can put on a keyboard of this type. The ROG Claymore II is definitely one of the best gamer keyboards of its generation.

First of all, build quality of the ROG Claymore II is quite exceptional : the product is elegant and close to perfection at every level. Asus didn't neglect any of the small accessories that make a difference, from USB pass-through to the detachable numpad or the fast-charge mode.

The ROG Claymore 2 is without a doubt a great keyboard. It has features that can be pretty useful in any task. It’s wireless, mechanical, has a good response time, and most of all, modular. The red-key version is a bliss to type on and while I initially scoffed at it for its lack of the characteristic clack that comes with blue switches, I did grow into it. The modular build also helps as I found myself frequently moving my workplace due to the heat.

We therefore end the test by giving ROG Claymore II a score of 9 out of 10 along with great product. Although the price is a little higher than others and I do not have my TKL wrist rest, it is still an incredibly nice keyboard, both in design, materials and overall quality. If you're already considering a wireless gaming keyboard, then the ROG Claymore II is clearly a candidate to look for.

It could be said that the new version of the Claymore keyboard captures all the shortcomings of its predecessor. It got the possibility of wireless use, quality switches with a super construction and, compared to the first, also a much more luxurious look. High-end wireless mode and USB passthrough tweaks were clearly missing in the original Claymore. Asus learned from previous shortcomings and came to the market with the best keyboard you can get.
