Meet the 2025 ROG Flow Z13: Elevating Gaming Tablets to New Heights

The world’s most powerful gaming tablet is back and better than ever. The 2025 ROG Flow Z13 packs a brand-new processor, revamped cooling, loads of ports, and much more to give you an insanely portable device that stays cool and quiet while powering any task you throw at it. When you need the mobility of a tablet with the power of a workstation-class PC, the 2025 ROG Flow Z13 delivers.
ROG Flow Z13: ultra-efficient power for gaming and computing
The 2025 Flow Z13's brand-new AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor gives you the power you need for heavyweight multitasking as well as hardcore gaming. Don’t be fooled by the Flow Z13’s ultra-compact size – with 16 Zen 5 CPU cores and 40 compute units of RDNA 3.5 graphics, this chip can play the AAA games of today and handle even the most demanding productivity workloads. In fact, despite being an all-in-one processor, the GPU inside the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 goes toe-to-toe with other discrete graphics solutions.
This groundbreaking processor also packs 50 TOPS of NPU power. That's enough to make it a certified Windows Copilot PC, ensuring you’re able to enjoy the full capabilities of Windows’ built-in artificial intelligence tools. When you need to pivot from gaming to productivity tasks, the Flow Z13 is ready, making it a truly versatile gaming tablet.

Unified quad-channel memory provides dynamic gains
Most powerful PCs use a dedicated CPU and GPU, with their own distinct pools of memory. But because the ROG Flow Z13 uses an all-in-one chiplet processor, its memory is shared, allowing you to allocate however much you want toward the task at hand. When you need as much VRAM as possible, dedicate that memory to the GPU. Tab-spamming YouTube videos in a browser? Shift it back to system RAM. With up to 128GB of quad-channel LPDDR5X-8000 memory on this pint-sized powerhouse, you’ll never be left wanting.
A gaming tablet that’s cool under pressure

We packed an awful lot of power into the 2025 ROG Flow Z13, which means we needed to update its thermal design. A new vapor chamber, built with stainless steel to reduce weight, offers 54% more mainboard coverage than last gen to ensure your machine runs cool as a cucumber. Dual Arc Flow fans exhaust hot air through 0.1mm heatsink fins, while integrated dust filters on the extra-large intake vents keep the inside free of debris.
We also added a new airflow channel that directs airflow across the opposite side of the PCB, reducing touch screen temperatures for more comfortable use. Prop the tablet up on its stand and the Z13 will enjoy ample access to fresh air while you game, create, and work. This cooling system ensures your portable gaming device can perform at its peak even under demanding conditions.
A screen built for gamers
If you’re going to game on a device, it needs a screen that can keep up with the action Whether you need to root out enemies hiding in dark shadows, enjoy the radiant hues of a new AAA masterpiece, or keep up with the most frame-intensive split-second action game, the Flow Z13 delivers.
The Flow Z13 sports a 13-inch 2.5K ROG Nebula Display armed with 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, 500 nits of peak brightness, and a 16:10 aspect ratio, giving you a wide, immersive display with vibrant colors. And with a 180Hz refresh rate, the Flow Z13 will display fluid motion in fast-paced competitive games like Valorant as well as AAA titles like Black Myth: Wukong.
This tablet’s touchscreen display is tough, too. Featuring Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, you can rest easy knowing your Flow Z13 is ready for the rough-and-tumble nature of daily life.
Beyond basic connectivity: The ROG Flow Z13's versatile port selection
While most tablets opt for a minimal set of ports, the 2025 Flow Z13 is ready for all your expansion needs, featuring dual USB4-ready Type-C ports, a USB Type-A port, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card reader. If you want to plug in a gaming mouse and headset and hook up your Flow Z13 to a multi-monitor setup, you’ll have the ability to do so — all while leaving the dongles at home.
As if that weren’t enough, the 2025 Flow Z13 also sports a 70Wh battery, larger than the previous generation, allowing gamers longer charger-free gaming sessions than ever. Plus, the Flow Z13’s detachable keyboard now features a larger touchpad and individual keycaps so you can enjoy a proper gaming laptop experience with the flexibility of a tablet. And a brand-new Command Center button offers instant access to key system functions, making the tablet-PC hybrid experience as user-friendly as possible.
