ROG Strix LC III ARGB Build

If you’re still using the stock cooler that came with your CPU, you’re missing out. Not only can better cooling give you more temperature headroom for high performance gaming and overclocking, it's also more efficient than traditional air cooling, meaning your computer will also run quieter – not to mention look a whole lot more stylish. The latest ROG Strix LC III series all-in-one CPU coolers make liquid cooling a snap, offering great performance and customizable looks you can tailor to your custom-built PC.

The ROG Strix LC III Aura Sync series brings the RGB and a new, improved pump AIO cooler design

Like our other AIOs, the third generation of ROG Strix liquid coolers contains everything you need in a single unit, so you don’t have to worry about building an entire water cooling loop from scratch. It all starts with the water block, which houses a new Asetek multiple fin array copper coldplate that targets the hottest part of the CPU die. The heated liquid then flows into Asetek’s New Gen7 v2 pump embedded in the water block, which pumps the fluid into a set of reinforced sleeved tubes that offer excellent durability, flowing into a 240mm or 360mm radiator. Mounted to the radiator sit two or three 120mm fans (respectively) that constantly pull hot air out of the system, allowing the cycle to begin anew so your CPU always stays cool in the heat of battle. A built-in sensor monitors the liquid temperature and automatically boosts the pump speed when necessary, and slows it down for quieter, more efficient operation when CPU utilization is low.

A good AIO cooler needs to look as good as it performs, so we made sure it’s worthy as the centerpiece of your build. The water block is adorned with an ARGB logo, compatible with our own Aura Sync ecosystem. Choose from one of our own customizable lighting patterns or create your own, and synchronize them with other ROG components in your PC. You can even use the RGB lighting to provide temperature information through our Armoury Crate software.

The water block allows for 360 degrees of rotation, to ensure so the logo remains right-side-up no matter how you mount the cooler. The 240mm and 360mm models are also available with our latest ARGB fans, which use a ring-shaped blade design to provide high airflow with optimized acoustics, and are also compatible with Aura Sync. We’ll also offer a non-ARGB version of the ROG Strix LC III 360, which keeps the RGB logo on the water block but comes with black fans for more minimalist or value-oriented builds.

Both the ROG Strix LC III 240 ARGB and ROG Strix LC III 360 ARGB are also available in white versions, so they can perfectly match the other snow-colored components in your rig.

If you want to keep a closer eye on system stats, or show something other than a static logo on your block, we’re proud to introduce a new member to the Strix LC family: the ROG Strix LC III LCD series, which puts a 2.1” IPS LCD screen right on the CPU water block. This screen can show CPU temperatures, a system clock, or a custom image of your choosing. Like the Aura Sync version, the  ROG Strix LC III 360 ARGB LCD utilizes Asetek’s New Gen7 v2 pump with an improved copper coldplate, reinforced sleeved tubing, and premium ROG ARGB fans optimized for high airflow and quiet operation. It’s available in both black and white versions to match your desired color scheme.
