ROG x KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS team up to create a Flow Z13 for Ludens who dare

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) and KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS have joined forces to create a limited-edition lineup that celebrates creativity, play, and innovation. At the heart of this partnership is Ludens — the iconic figure representing the belief that humans are not only thinkers, but also players and creators.

This collaboration fuses the ROG motto “For Those Who Dare” with KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS’ ethos “From Sapiens to Ludens.” Ludens are the pioneers who experiment, mod, and challenge the boundaries of gaming and hardware. Together, ROG and KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS pay tribute to that spirit with designs and technology crafted for gamers everywhere — For Ludens Who Dare.

Introducing the ROG Flow Z13-KJP

The centerpiece of this collaboration is the ROG Flow Z13-KJP, a 2-in-1 gaming tablet that embodies the essence of Ludens. Designed in partnership with legendary artist Yoji Shinkawa, the Flow Z13-KJP features angular CNC-aluminum cutouts, carbon fiber accents, and bold typography inspired by the Ludens mascot.

“I wanted to create a gadget that belongs to Ludens and I integrated that into this PC design,” said Yoji Shinkawa. “Parts and designs are inspired by Ludens and has its essence.” Every detail — from the custom carrying case, power adapter, packaging, and even an exclusive Armoury Crate theme — reflects KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS’ signature style.

Under the hood, the Flow Z13-KJP is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor with Radeon 8060S Graphics, delivering elite performance for gaming and content creation. With 16 Zen 5 CPU cores, 40 RDNA 3.5 GPU compute units, and a unified 128GB memory architecture, this device optimizes resources dynamically for any task. Add 50 TOPS of NPU power for local AI workloads, and you have a machine that can easily run large language models locally for enhanced productivity and security.

The 13.4-inch Nebula Display offers a stunning 2.5K resolution, 180Hz refresh rate, and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, ensuring cinematic visuals and fluid gameplay. Paired with a detachable keyboard, the Flow Z13-KJP is as versatile as it is powerful — perfect for play and creation anywhere.

The ROG Keris II Origin-KJP Edition gaming mouse combines tuned, lightweight ergonomics of our Keris mice with a gold, grey and white color scheme.

Finally, the lineup includes the ROG Scabbard II XXL-KJP, a premium mouse mat with the outline of Ludens staring boldly into the future. All three of these accessories proudly bear the phrase “For Ludens Who Dare”, a playful mashup of the ROG and  KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS’ respective slogans. This hand-drawn design is illustrated by Shinkawa himself.
