(3)Asus is basically creating a new niche here and one that I have personally been waiting for. I play games most days for work but I need to be able to hear what's going on around me, whether that's my wife talking, a delivery at the front door, or a crying baby. I find earbuds more comfortable than headsets but "transparency modes" on existing gaming earbuds are universally terrible. Open earbuds – so-named because they sit outside your ear canal – are far better for hearing what's happening.

CZECH REPUBLIC 05/21/2026VečThe ASUS ROG Cetra Open Wireless are niche headphones that only make sense if you know exactly why you want an open-ear design. For running, sports, gaming at home, or situations where you need to hear your surroundings, they work very well in my opinion. In games, the low latency, wide soundstage, and emphasis on subtle audio details really help.
