[Wireless Router] How to connect ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 6GHz SSID with Intel ® AX210 WLAN Card?

  • At present, Microsoft Windows OS does not support Wi-Fi 6E/6GHz band, and it is expected to be supported after 2021/H2. Users can register Microsoft Windows Insider Program for free, and get access for Wi-Fi 6E-enabled drivers. For details on how to participate in the Insider Program & enable WiFi6E/6GHz band, please refer to following FAQ section.
  • If you have participated in the Microsoft Windows Insider Program, and Intel® AX210 WLAN Adapter has also been installed. The version number of Intel® AX210 to support Wi-Fi 6E/6GHz band is Windows 10 22.45 or Windows 11 22.70 version . (This version is only available in Microsoft Windows Insider Program.)

 

 

Download and Install Windows 10 Insider Preview

Step1. Sign in or create a new Microsoft account

Please go to Microsoft Insider Website ( https://Insider.windows.com) and create account for downloading.

  • Step 1-1. Please sign in your Microsoft account.
  • Step 1-2. Or create a new account & password, and verify via verification code.

 

Step2. Register for the Windows Insider Program

Please go to Microsoft Insider Website (https://Insider.windows.com) and register for the Windows insider program.

  • Step 2-1. Please click on “Register”.
  • Step 2-2. Check and accept the terms of agreement, and click on “Register now”
  • Step 2-3. Please click on “Flight now”, you are now ready to join Windows insider program.

 

Step3. Get ready for Windows update

Please go to Microsoft Insider Website (https://Insider.windows.com)  and follow by following steps.

  • Step 3-1. Please scroll down the webpage, and within “In Dev Channel” section, please click on “Update now”.
  • Step 3-2.Please go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update on your Windows 10 device, and make a Windows update. (For more details may refer to "Start flighting” instructions on Microsoft website)

 

  • Step 3-3-1./3-3-2. Select a Windows 10 edition/language and download.
  • Once you have joined Microsoft Windows Insider Program, Intel® AX210 WLAN card with WiFi6E/6GHz band support by Microsoft OS will be automatically detected by your Windows 10 device, and push notice to you to agree on Windows update with WiFi6E/6GHz bandsupport. At present, Microsoft Windows OS does not support WiFi6E/6GHz band, and it is expected to be supported after 2021/H2.
