It has come to our attention that certain ROG Ryuo IV SLC 360 ARGB coolers may exhibit decreased thermal performance in extreme environments

Dear ROG Customer,

It has been brought to our attention that, in rare circumstances, some ROG RYUO IV SLC 360 ARGB units may experience a decline in cooling performance under prolonged high-temperature conditions. This issue occurs only in extreme situations when temperatures are sustained above 90°C for approximately 72 hours or more. Under normal usage conditions (approximately 40-45°C), our tests show that cooling performance remains stable.

All ROG RYUO IV SLC 360 ARGB units currently available in worldwide markets have passed the industry-standard 72-hour aging test at 70°C. The units that may have issues when used under extreme conditions are noted below. The serial numbers for potentially affected products are noted below. For all of these units, ROG is offering unconditional replacement. Please see details below.

Serial numbers starting with T4, with the digits in positions 9 through 12 falling within the following ranges:
• 1689 - 1932
• 2025 - 2888
• 2961 - 2998
• 3193 – 3242

Replacement and Warranty Information

✅ For products within the aforementioned serial number range, ASUS is offering free replacement of the same model.
✅ The ROG RYUO IV SLC 360 ARGB comes with a 6-year product warranty. (The screen module has a 2-year warranty).
