CES 2023 is in full swing, and ROG has announced a host of new gaming machines that push performance and design to new heights. From the brand new 16- and 18-inch displays in the Strix SCAR and Strix G series to the completely redesigned Zephyrus M16 and brand-new silicon powering the entire lineup, we’re proud to share these amazing machines with you for the first time. The ROG Strix SCAR and Strix G become more immersive than ever
Building a high-performance gaming laptop is all about maximising every component. More CPU and GPU power, a faster refresh rate screen, more memory and storage, without increasing the size or weight of the machine. The 2023 Strix series breaks the mould with brand new form factors, increasing the size of the display to give you more screen real estate than ever before. Introducing the Strix SCAR 16, Strix SCAR 18, Strix G16, and Strix G18 — four all-new laptops designed with high-performance gaming at their heart.
Our new 16- and 18-inch Strix machines fill up more of your field of view with their expansive displays, while still fitting into typical 15- and 17-inch laptop bags. They also feature our ROG Nebula displays for the first time, ensuring fast, bright, vivid gameplay — with the Strix SCAR 16 featuring our Nebula HDR display, powered by Mini LED for an HDR image that jumps right off the screen. At a QHD resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate, even the highest octane gameplay is buttery smooth.

Strix machines are built for competitive gamers, which is why we’ve packed them with the latest and greatest chips. All four machine feature up to an Intel Core i9-13980HX processor, with the Strix G line boasting up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU, and the Strix SCAR line sporting up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU. Thanks to a brand-new thermal solution, including a tri-fan design and a full-width heatsink, all the new 16- and 18-inch Strix machines have a max GPU TGP of 175W, allowing them to extract all the performance possible from their flagship silicon.

The 2023 Zephyrus M16 has been completely redesigned, now featuring a brand-new tri-fan cooling system and sporting the very first AniMe Matrix panel on a 16-inch laptop.
