Speaking of keys, and this is where I thought the Falcata shines best. ASUS’ ROG HFX V2 magnetic switches – also known as hall effect, for the mechanical keyboard otakus – are ridiculously fast. I didn’t realise how lightly I rested my fingers on keys until I started accidentally firing off abilities in Diablo IV.

Magnetic precision and split design for extreme gamers

Tenting is when you angle the keyboard slightly outwards to make it more ergonomic to type on. I think this is brilliant. During my time with a lot of keyboards, specifically when I'm typing scripts, I do realize it is a little bit more comfortable to type on an angle than if it was just flat. So I do appreciate this feature.

On top of that, because this is a split keyboard, you can get rid of the right hand side and just use the left hand side exclusively when gaming, meaning better ergonomics for gaming and more space for you to move your mouse, which is always a good thing.

The keyboard is supercharged, with high-quality assembly and cool features. It seems that only ASUS can afford to release something like this.

Well, personally, I think the experiment was a success. ASUS has never had keyboards like this before. They gave it a try, and I think they succeeded. The keyboard turned out great.

I liked the fact that the keyboard's settings could be configured from the Asus Gear Link website without the need to install a standalone software. I also liked its engineering and smart energy saving feature that lets it to work for weeks wirelessly
