This summer’s Crosshair update maybe a small one, but for AMD fans it’s always noteworthy. Without a new FX chipset update to yet grace an ROG PCB, the Crosshair remains on its 5th version, however the new -Z suffix indicates the 2012 revision. Of course all AM3+ CPUs are still supported, but a year’s worth of R&D tweaks for the FX architecture – including enhancements for upcoming Piledriver – have been put into the new C5F-Z.
