The portable monitor has a built-in bidirectional power supply function. It can obtain power from the laptop, or when connected to a USB-C power bank or AC adapter and plugged into the wall outlet, it can supply power to the laptop through pass-through charging.

How to confirm if my portable monitor supports pass-through charging function
You can check the product specifications and the maximum supported wattage on the ASUS official website.

1. Connecting the portable monitor to the laptop for power supply
① If the laptop does not support USB-C (DP Alt Mode), HDMI connection is also required to display video signal.

② If the laptop supports USB-C (DP Alt Mode), it can simultaneously transmit power and video signal.

① If the laptop supports USB-C (DP Alt Mode), it can simultaneously transmit power and video signal.

Question 1. Important notes for portable monitor power supply:
Answer 1.1 Power adapter usage suggestions (using MB16NCG as an example):
●It is recommended to use a power adapter of no less than 30W.
●To fully support the maximum charging power of 65W for this product, it is recommended to use a power adapter over 80W.
For the actual adapter requirements and supported wattage, please refer to the product specification sheet of the model you have purchased for the most accurate information.

1.2 If you encounter abnormal charging, please check whether the power output of the connected power adapter is sufficient to meet the charging needs of the monitor and other devices at the same time.
