With a reoriented layout and a redesigned fan module, we managed to fit 3 large heatsinks to quickly dissipate thermal energy and keep performance smooth and consistent. Altogether, they offer 44,230mm2 of total surface area for faster cooling.
Scenario Profiles
Scenario Profiles automatically change operating modes to optimize performance and acoustics for different games and apps. Turbo mode ramps up the fans and frequency to sustain maximum speed, Performance mode balances cooling and clocks to lower acoustics for gaming, and Silent mode runs even quieter for lighter work and entertainment. Switch modes seamlessly or on demand with a keyboard shortcut.
Liquid metal thermal compound
Liquid metal compound lowers CPU temperatures by up to 10°C* compared to standard thermal paste. Slimmer heatpipes
Flatter heatpipes help minimize height in the ultra-slim form factor, and offer more surface area to pull heat away from core components. They snake over the CPU and GPU to reduce temperatures and help improve long-term stability and reliability.
Self-cleaning Cooling 2.0
Self-cleaning cooling helps keep critical components free of debris to maintain optimal thermal dissipation. Our upgraded design features shorter anti-dust tunnels that leave enough room for full-sized fans while channeling dust away from heatsinks, heatpipes, and other cooling components to ensure long-term stability and reliability.
Arc Flow Fans
Two Arc Flow fans increase airflow by up to 13% without additional noise. The carefully shaped blades taper toward the base to move more air, and they’re capped with special tips that follow an aerodynamic wave pattern to reduce turbulence and noise. Each fan has 84 blades crafted from a liquid-crystal polymer that’s strong enough to maintain its shape at high RPMs, even in super thin sizes. With 0dB Technology, the fans switch off completely when CPU and GPU temperatures are low in the Silent operating mode. This makes cooling truly silent under light workloads.
