ROG Bulwark Dock DG310 FAQs
Question1: Which devices work with the ROG Bulwark Dock DG310?
Answer1: The DG310 works over a single USB-C cable with devices that support USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery. It requires Windows 11 or later, macOS 12.3 or later, or Android 14 or later. The dock is designed and optimized for ROG Xbox Ally series handhelds, including automatic Game Mode and one-touch Bluetooth pairing. Just plug it in — no driver installation is required.
Question2: Which handhelds fit the stand? Will my ROG Ally sit on it?
Answer2: The built-in stand is shaped around the dimensions of the ROG Xbox Ally (2025), ROG Xbox Ally X (2025) and ROG Xbox Ally X20 (2026), holding the handheld at an ideal viewing angle without blocking the display or the exhaust vents. Other devices can still use all of the dock's ports over the USB-C cable.
Question3: What ports does the DG310 have? What does "6-in-1" mean?
Answer3: 6-in-1 refers to: one HDMI 2.1 port, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports (all 5 Gbps; two at 5V/0.9A and one at 5V/1.5A), one Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) port, and one USB-C power input (20V/5A, up to 100W). A fixed 60 cm USB-C cable with a 90-degree connector (5 Gbps, up to 80W output) connects the dock to your device.

Question4: Can I charge and play at the same time? Do I need to provide my own charger?
Answer4: Yes. The DG310 delivers up to 80W of charging power over its USB-C cable, so your device keeps charging while it is connected to your TV and peripherals. A charger is not included — to reach the full 80W output, we recommend a USB-C PD charger rated at 100W or higher.
Question5: What is the maximum resolution and refresh rate? Does it support HDR?
Answer5: The HDMI 2.1 output supports up to 3840x2160 at 144Hz (4K 144Hz) or 7680x4320 at 30Hz (8K 30Hz).DG310 supports HDR, VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode). The resolution and refresh rate you actually get depend on your device's output capability, the specification of your HDMI cable, and what your TV or monitor supports.
Question6: Can I connect two external displays at the same time?
Answer6: No. The DG310 has a single HDMI 2.1 output port and supports one TV or monitor at a time.
Question7: What is automatic Game Mode? Do I need to set it up myself?
Answer7: When you connect your ROG Xbox Ally to a TV, the dock automatically enables Game Mode so the TV switches to its low-latency gaming picture settings. There is no need to adjust anything in your TV menus — just plug in and start playing.
Question8: How does one-touch Bluetooth pairing work?
Answer8: The Bluetooth button on the dock pairs controllers, keyboards, headsets and other peripherals directly with your ROG Xbox Ally, without navigating through the handheld's menus. Put the peripheral into pairing mode, then press and hold the button on the dock for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode and complete the connection.

Question9: What can I plug into the USB-A ports? What speed and power do they provide?
Answer9: All three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports run at 5 Gbps and support wired controllers, keyboards and mice, USB flash drives and similar devices. Two supply 5V/0.9A and the third supplies 5V/1.5A.
Question10: How many lighting modes are there? Can I turn the lighting off?
Answer10: The DG310 offers four switchable RGB lighting modes: Static, Breathing, Color Cycle and Rainbow. Press the button once to switch to the next lighting mode, and press it twice to turn the lighting off.

Question11: What's in the box? What are the dimensions and weight?
Answer11: The box contains one ROG Bulwark Dock DG310, a user manual and a warranty card; a charger is not included. The dock measures 181.6 x 86.6 x 31.6 mm, weighs approximately 262 ±10 g, comes in black, and has a fixed 60 cm USB-C cable.
