Hi all,

Just got myself a brand spanking new R9 290 DirectCU II OC. Very impressed with performance.

I do however got a question regarding the GPU usage.

When I load into Windows, the usage is 0% and the temperature is +-30 degrees.
Then if I load into a game, in this case, World of Tanks, the usage goes up to 100% and the temp goes to 60-62. (This part is normal for me and I am happy with temp.)

What I do find strange and perhaps you guys can help me, is that if I exit the game, the usage stays on 100% and the temp stays on 60.
Shouldn't it drop back down to 0% and 30 degrees?

I have updated to the latest VBIOS:
67B1HB.15.41.0.2.AS08L

Just WoT or other games/3D benchmarks? If it's just WoT then it seems a bug with that game. GPU won't stay loaded unless something is giving it work to do.

Hi there, it is with any game. As soon as I exit the game the load stays at 100%.
Sorry Wot was just an example.

hi i just got this card, is it normal that my idle temp is around 43-46 degree ?
fan speed at 30 %
