OCLab 3DMark03 World Record On MATRIX HD 7970 & Maximus V Extreme
OCLab.ru Smoke and slamms proving again the Russian winter is the ideal time to benchmark with a new 3DMark03 world record and impressive Heaven Xtreme scores of 274398 marks and 8179 marks respectively. See the full OClab report for pictures and score screenshots (bring your translator) and HWbot has confirmations of both 3DMark 03 and Heaven. The guys were using 100% ROG hardware, with four MATRIX HD 7970 at 1250MHz/7000MHz (effective) and a Core i7-3770K in a Maximus V Extreme at 6.834GHz (108.5 x 63) at 1.95V, with G.Skill DDR3 at 2600MHz CL10.
