Build an epic gaming setup with the ROG Aura Light Bar and ROG Ergo Monitor Arm

From OLED and Mini LED to ultra high refresh displays, ROG is proud to build some of the best gaming monitors on the planet. But if you’re crafting a truly decked-out gaming setup, setting a standalone monitor on your desk may not be enough for you. This year, we’re introducing two gaming setup accessories sure to take your battlestation to the next level: the CES Innovation Award-winning ROG Aura Light Bar and the ROG Ergo Monitor Arm. 

The ROG Aura Light Bar is a dynamic gaming accessory for every scenario

Light bars that mount on top of your display have become quite popular, allowing an easy way to shine ambient light on your desk, reducing eye strain without the need for a standalone desk lamp. But they’re often a bit too basic, shining light indiscriminately and washing out your monitor’s colors and contrast. So we built something better: the ROG Aura Light Bar ALB01.

It shines light in three different modes, purpose-built for different use cases. The front of the RGB light bar uses our patented asymmetric light to brighten the desk below, without reflecting off your screen and creating unnecessary glare. Whether you’re working with paper documents or building Warhammer miniatures, this mode is great for desk work of any type. The back light, on the other hand, casts a subtle RGB glow to boost the ambiance of your gaming setup. A third mode combines both lights for the best of all worlds. 

The RGB back light is compatible with our own DisplayWidget Center and Aura Sync, allowing you to cycle through a few pre-set modes or connect it to your PC for synchronization with the rest of your ROG gear. The patented magnetic clamp and buckle ensure wide compatibility with different displays, with a dial on the front of the bracket for precise adjustment of brightness and color temperature (which ranges from 2700K to 6500K). The ROG Aura Light Bar meets the IEC 62471 and IEEE Par 1789 eye safety standards for lights, so you can keep eye strain to a minimum. 

Increase desk space with the ROG Ergo articulating computer monitor arm

We’re also releasing the ROG Ergo Monitor Arm AAS01, which mounts do your desk and uses a mechanical spring arm mechanism that can hold any display up to 39 inches and between 3kg and 11.5kg in weight (for flat monitors) or between 3kg and 8.5 kg in weight (for curved monitors). This computer monitor desk mount allows for even higher levels of adjustments for your monitor, while also creating more space on your desk underneath the display. You can swivel and pivot your display up to 360°, and tilt between 15° and 75° with smooth articulation.  

The arm’s double-sided cable management allows you to keep wires tidy while still allowing enough slack for a full range of motion, and the cyberpunk-inspired design matches perfectly with the rest of your ROG gear. Combine the Ergo Monitor Arm and Aura Light Bar with one of our class-leading gaming monitors for a serious upgrade to your setup.
