RealBench Challenge is an online overclocking competition organized by ROG on oc-esports.io. Composed of four different challenges, RealBench Challenge II ran from September 30th to October 10th.

As for the Challenge I, overclockers had 11 days to participate and submit their score on the RealBench HWBOT Edition benchmark. This time, the submissions were limited to 4200MHz for CPU frequency. 

Overclockers could use any motherboard except for the LGA2011-v3 socket. Most of the users, made the right move by bringing back their Rampave IV Extreme or Black Edition in order to get the best score and either an all-in-one (AIO) water cooling system or a custom one to reach the minimum temperature allowed which is 20 degrees Celsius during idle.

For RealBench Challenge II, Wizerty, extreme overclocker from France claimed top position and won the Spatha mouse and Whetstone mousepad set.

If we look at the performance from Wizerty, he went to the limit with the processor in order to get the most out of his system. The screen shows 4199MHz! His benchmark score is 152,811 points, edging out Menthol with 152,706 points

Lucky draw winners 

As for each of the challenges, three of the participants won a lucky draw pack containing exclusive ROG goodies, including a special edition ROG overclocking t-shirt.

RealBench Challenge - Overall ranking

At the end of the four challenges, the top three overclockers in the overall ranking will receive an exclusive next-generation ROG motherboard that will be compatible with upcoming processors. 

Wizerty, Menthol and meankeys are currently well on track. But it ain't over yet! 

RealBench Challenge III starts on October 28th
