Four insane ROG PC gaming battlestations you need to see to believe

Expressing your personality with a tricked-out gaming setup is a core part of the PC gaming experience. No one knows this better than ROG loyalists, who produce some of the wildest battlestations on the planet. That's why we're highlighting a few incredible setups shared by ROG fans over on our official ROG Discord channel.

One-man LAN party

When ZerueLX11 shared this battlestation in the ROG Discord channel, another user replied: “That's not a battlestation, that's a whole nuclear plant.” We’re inclined to agree. This setup houses not one, not two, but three PCs, each with their own names. As ZerueLX11 put it, this is a one-man LAN party. Imagine having friends over — you could play three-player online-only co-op games like Apex Legends side by side, passing Cheetos all the while. Truly, this setup is a dream.

It's also worth noting that this setup is something of a miniature time capsule. From left to right, we move from an "old-school" PC gaming setup to something identifiably modern before finishing with the upper echelon of cutting-edge, multi-monitor PC gaming. ZerueLX11 has captured entire eras within the span of a few desks.

The main gaming PC on the far right, Zeruel, is a Windows-powered champ. It features the ROG Maximus XIII Extreme Glacial motherboard, an ROG Strix RTX 3080 Ti graphics card, and an ROG Thor 1200W power supply unit, all snuggled inside an ROG Strix Helios PC case. Its peripheral lineup is ROG'd to the max, with an ROG Balteus gaming mousepad, ROG Claymore II gaming keyboard, ROG Raikiri Pro game controller, ROG Throne Qi headphone stand, ROG Carnyx microphone, and a whopping four ROG Swift PG279Q monitors (you can check out our latest 27-inch gaming monitors here). Even ZerueLX11's sitting arrangement gets the ROG treatment; this hardcore Republic member sits on an ROG Chariot RGB gaming chair placed atop an ROG Cosmic Mat.

ZerueLX11's secondary gaming PC in the middle, Israfel, keeps a lower profile with an ASUS GeForce RTX 3050 Dual V2 graphics card and ROG Strix 850W PSU. It goes full Republic in its peripheral lineup with an ROG GK2000 Horus keyboard, ROG Gladius III mouse, ROG Whetstone mousepad, and ROG Swift PG279Q monitor. And even the third gaming PC, the retro-sleeper rig on the left, Bardiel, packs some ROG zest with an ROG Maximus IX Hero motherboard alongside certified ASUS classics like a TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card.

This setup's wireless activity is powered by the WiFi 6E ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 gaming router. It’s a battlestation with enough power and screens to provide excellent gaming experiences as well as help Batman track villains across Gotham.

The Deus Ex battle suitcase

Not all battlestations need to be desktop-based. Sometimes, all you need is a killer portable device and smart selection of color-coordinated peripherals to have an envy-inducing setup. That’s the sitch with ROG Discord user David N.’s gear. All his ROG gadgets are loaded inside a ready-to-go, rugged suitcase, making for a truly portable arsenal.

This encased battlestation gathers ROG’s coolest small-scale gadgets to produce a sleek, sophisticated portable setup that absolutely stuns. This is in large part thanks to David’s smart employment of his devices’ Aura Sync RGB capabilities, ensuring predominantly black hardware glows gold across the board. The result is a high-contrast, two-tone battlestation color scheme that’d fit perfectly in the cyberpunk world of Deus Ex.

This portable setup packs more power than many tower-based battlestations. The GeForce RTX 4090-imbued ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 and its two screens provide GPU strength and situational versatility in spades. This means David N. has a supercharged gaming PC and workstation all in one device. The setup includes an ROG Chakram X Origin, an esports-grade gaming mouse with a programmable joystick, for games that demand more than a trackpad. And David N. uses the ROG Balteus Qi mousepad to wirelessly charge compatible devices while giving the Chakram X Origin the firm support it needs.

Here’s a full hardware rundown if you want to recreate this battlestation’s ROG arsenal: David N’s setup features a 2023 ROG Zephyrus Duo 16, ROG Chakram X Origin wireless gaming mouse, ROG Balteus Qi mousepad, ROG Theta 7.1 headset, and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. David N. also has an ROG Strix Arion SSD enclosure for extra storage, an ROG Eye S webcam, and ROG Cetra True Wireless gaming earbuds for when it’s time to go truly mobile.

Omni’s hideout

A room filled with ROG gear and logos, including a glowing red ROG wall-mounted plaque and multiple ROG desktop PCs.

If Omni built a gaming room in the real world, it’d probably look something like Atomic32's setup. The giant ROG plaque on the wall, the Fearless Eye logo dominating the ceiling, the room's ROG-red glow (powered by approximately 25 meters of RGB lighting strips) — this battlestation is wild. The giant ceiling logo is a custom 3D-print job, and the wall-mounted plaque was created via CNC milling machine. In total, the room required almost four months to assemble, spread across evenings and weekends. Atomic32 takes aesthetics seriously. But this ROG forward operating base isn’t just a cosmetic stunner; it has the horsepower to back up its luster.

The battlestation features two tricked-out gaming PCs, one for Atomic32 (left) and one for their boo (right). Atomic32’s rig packs an ROG X570-E Gaming motherboard and ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card inside a striking ROG Strix Helios case. Of course, Atomic32 also has ROG peripherals to pair with the PC, including an ROG Chakram Core mouse, ROG GK2000 Gaming RGB keyboard (check out our latest gaming keyboards here), ROG Delta II wireless gaming headset, ROG PG348Q curved gaming monitor, and ROG Chariot gaming chair. Their girlfriend's setup also features some ROG tech with its ROG GK2000 gaming keyboard, ROG PG348Q curved gaming monitor, and ROG Centurion 7.1 headset.

Cherry blossoms and serenity

There's something supremely satisfying about setups with unified aesthetics. Take ! AK's battlestation, for example. It relies on three colors: white, black, and pink. And it looks stunning. There's also a distinct emphasis on angularity. AK’s rectangular peripherals complement their boxy PC case's octagonal fans and decorative wall hexagons. Combine all these deliberate aesthetic decisions and you get a coordinated battlestation with a clear, cohesive artistic vision.

AK's powerhouse battlestation rocks our ROG Strix Maximus Z790 Formula motherboard, ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 OC White Edition graphics card, ROG Strix 850W White PSU, and ROG Strix Ryujin III ARGB White AIO cooler. Those specs mean this battlestation runs the latest games with ease and looks good doing it. AK’s setup is a great example of what ROG White Edition components can achieve when used together.
