Fortunately, in combination with the new ASUS 1200W power supply, everything was fine. I have to commend ASUS from several points of view, their RTX 5090 design has an advantage precisely in that naughty power section. We can monitor individual pins and the card is supposed to have protection against too high a current and should prevent damage.
