The 2025 ROG Strix Scar 18 is an impressive gamer PC. ... There's no denying the excellence on offer here. The design remains much the same, but now allows access to RAM and storage upgrades or battery replacement without even using a screwdriver. The Mini LED screen is excellent, both for its calibration and its natural capabilities. Performance is spot on, with a mobile RTX 5080 on a par with the previous-generation mobile RTX 4090.

This laptop has three tasks, to have a nice display, the highest possible performance and ultra super cooling. And this piece delivers on all of that. You just have to sell your car or move into a studio apartment to party on it with the latest games.
