Looks like no joy from Intel for anything which predates 14nm Skylake.
22nm Z97/LGA1150 and older is all outta luck.
22nm/14nm X99/C610/LGA2011-3 is borderline, I think Intel should patch these parts because they're still DDR4-native, still Xeon-compatible, still "modern" and powerful enough to be practical. But my bias does not influence Intel's decisions, lol.
