Asus Aura 1080Ti hardware saves lighting effects?

I am not a fan of asus aura but had no choice in changing 1080Ti's colors.
I installed aura off the asus website for the graphics card only.
Set it too color cycle, apply. Then I disabled aura from startup in task scheduler.
Restarted, all good.
Shutdown and cold boot, all good.
I'll keep it installed but I have it disabled from startup. If I do uninstall it will the lighting effects be kept on color cycle forever?

I had a 1080 Strix, I set color to static red and it stayed after moving to several different motherboards, I cannot say about any effects

It should be fine. The LED should only change once you use the program again.
