Hi All,

I'm going to buy Asus ROG Strix X470-F Gaming motherboard for my Ryzen 7 2700x processor.
I already have a G-Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3200C14D-16GTZR 2*8Gb kit, however this kit is not listed in the QVL for Asus ROG Strix X470-F Gaming*motherboard.*

Can anyone confirm if this G-Skill TridentZ RGB F4-3200C14D-16GTZR RAM 2*8Gb kit will work with Asus ROG Strix X470-F Gaming motherboard?
Is anyone using this same spec on their Rig currently?

Regards,
Nash

Yes.

Any samsung b-die chipped modules will work fine. Most 3200 CL14 are Samsung b-die.
I am using the F4-3600C15D at 3400 14-14-14-14-22-36.

You may need the help of this tool to set the dram timings manually.

Thankyou mate ... this is good info ... 🙂

I have now tested and can confirm that G-skill tridentz rgb f4-3200c14d-16gtzr is compatible with Asus ROG Strix x470-f gaming MoBo and it is running at 3200 ...

Are you using DOCP? what voltage?
You can improve performance by tightening the timings manually to get the Latency as close to 60ns as possible.

You can check your timings using with this tool:
