Is LLC Level 8 fine to use? Still getting droop at LLC7

My 9900k looks to be stable at 5.1ghz, 1.33v under non avx load. But I have to set 1.38v bios and llc7 to get that droop amount.

There is 1 more level of LLC being 8. Is it fine to use? Was hoping I can drop to 1.35v bios and still get the same load voltage of 1.33v

Board= Maximus xi formula - bios 0703

some vdroop is healthy for cpu, i wouldn't go above 7 for 24/7
there is no need to hunt the lowest possible vcore in bios settings, more important is how satisfied the cpu will be 😄

I would second that. Especially given that AVX WILL present a very big vdroop. I would recommend balancing LLC for closest voltage in non-AVX stress and then just increase the voltage to make it AVX stable.

Hi,
I primarily use llc 4-5 and seems good enough

Most instability I've noticed comes from wildly different vid's used between cores some as high as 0.020 difference.
Even them up using by spastic core clocking and stability appears where it wasn't before.
