No craziness, no insulting friends, just arguments, tests and proofs.

Ah, you say that for yourself, because you "bla bla bla" but nothing else
Or you understand quickly but it is necessary to explain to you a long time (French expression)
Just to show you that you are wrong (about temperatures), I tested the 64 microcode
That's the temperature difference between 49 (TJMax 105C) and 64 (TJMax 110C) microcode, I just tested on 1mn, no need to do more, it's more than enough to show the difference
We will admit 2, 3C of "margin" to please
Microcode 49 (TJMax 105C) :
Microcode 64 (TJMax 110C) :
But your bad faith will surely find us an excuse and as usual, without any proof
Now, we stop the "bla bla" or if you still want to be right, bring evidence with screen
PS : To make you happy, I feel that my OC prevent you from sleeping, since the time you talk about it (A score that is older, certainly)

Nice u start posting images of your phantom oc's, but would like to see a 30 minutes Realbench stress test at least using the whole memory u have installed (32 or 64gb) pushing the oc to reach the 105 degrees limit so we can determine if the microcodes will make your cpu throttle or even crash the Realbench. What u have done is useless!!!
Furthermore, I can't see what microcode is running in every instance, u should open the aida cpuid instance and agregate it to the capture. Maybe u think I'm future teller and know what u are running in your system right now.
I appreciate the 3dmark link so that i can see your registered hardware. Could u please also pass the TimeSpy Extreme??? More interesting for me!!!
And I repeat again, MC 64 is a poor performer, u should try MC 60...Omega, 10980xe, G.Skill 3600, 2080Ti, SM951 256, 970 PRO, 860 EVO

Blablabla. As usual!!! This is not serious!!!
We must stop looking for excuses, everyone knows, except you apparently, until microcode 49, it is a TJmax of 105C and after the microcode 49, it is the TJmax of 110C
And miraculously, the TJmax is indicated in the screen of CoreTemp
I leave the screens for those who would like to know the difference in temperature between the microcode 49 and the latestLast edited by tistou77; 10-07-2019 at 01:47 PM.

The thing is I know perfectly the TJMax of every microcode, but u don't understand that what is important in this matter is determining if the microcodes higher temperatures interfere with overclocks, that's why I ask u to push the temperature limits which should have grown to 110, at least in theory... Then that one hash match proof without even a cpuid instance is like doing anything!!! Blablabla and no proofs, as usual!!!
I ask u again, are u pushing 30 minutes in your rig or not??? Probably not cos your oc must be as stable as the Joker!!!Last edited by vmanuelgm; 11-25-2019 at 12:36 PM.

I do not care about the stability of the OC with a temperature close to 110°
I'm just saying that since microcode 50, the temperatures are increased (TJMax increased from 105C to 110C)
For my OC, no relation to the topicSorry for my english

Oh my god, vManuelgm, you have real problems in your life and with your psyche.
Sorry, but you need someone to check it.

And I insist that no practical effects to overclocking.
If I have 5 more degrees and also a higher limit (which is tolerated by the cpu), no practical difference except for placebo. But to check it, I must reach temperature limit to observe if that MC change is altering my overclocks or stability.
And of course it has to do with the topic, u are "selling" a microcode which supposedly is better in terms of temps, but u don't explain why, u don't say the recent Windows versions change that 49 for 4D (if not newer) and u say Retpoline is needed in these cpu's.
Everybody can see it except boyfriends who are only able to insult, because they like your ass very much.
Do u know anything else apart from just insulting???
Nice gang we have here.
If u are able to aport something, elaborate and respect!!!Last edited by vmanuelgm; 10-07-2019 at 09:15 PM.

If you're not interested, do not post
You have trouble understanding when I say that I'm not talking about OC stability but temperatures
The cores have better temperatures with the microcode 49 compared to the microcode since the 50, nothing more to understand
We do not care what you say with the alteration or the stability of the OC, nobody, except you, want to have temperatures at the limit of TJ Max
And one more thing that you post without knowing I think (how to know without testing...!!!!), the microcode updated under Windows does not infuence the temperature and performance (No difference with the 5E I have under Windows)
You mix the microcode "hardware" of the bios, and the microcode "software" of Windows
The 4D that goes back some time and the last in date, the 5E does not change the temperatures either
We will stop there, between your errors on the CPUID of CL-X (new "architecture" of CPU and same CPUID....) and your errors that the last microcodes modifies only the temperarutes in idle (by thinking about it, I do not see how besides, except a magic trick, maybe
)
I'm sure you'll find other topics to tell nonsenseLast edited by tistou77; 10-07-2019 at 03:34 PM.

Please kindly sharing experiences friends. We are owner of same CPU i9 7980XE.
After testing on my 2002 modded BIOS with 02000064 microcode with lastest Windows 10 Insider Previews build 18995.1 (lastest kernel).
I think there are some good news for our 7980XE for the new BIOS code. During testing with AIDA64 6.1.5200 Build many times.
1. 7980XE has better bandwidth Read/Write/Copy and lowest latency of DDR4 access since debut.
* * My system got 68.4ns (GSkill 4- channal DDR4 3200 16-18-18-38 2T *64GB) .
2. 7980XE has lower L2 cache latency from 5.5ns (1902 and older bios revision) to 3.1ns (2002).
3. 7980XE also lower L3 cache latency too (but a little bit compare to 1902 and older bios revision ).
However when compare 02000064 microcode to 0200005E or 02000060 microcode , they’re tiny performance gap for 3 revisions.
Personally I love 02000064 microcode with lastest performance optimized for new Windows kernel (1909 and my Insider 20H1 testing) more
than others.
Please waiting new Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0 new version under testing with W10 1909 and my insider 20H1 a little bit. Final version will
release soon. ***Windows 11 22H2 Build 25115.1000 Core i9 7980XE 02006D05 MCU 2021-11-13 R6E 3601 MODDED BIOS TPM 2.0 Enabled VROC 7.7.0.1054 + RST 18.31.3.5434 ME FW 11.12.92.2222 DV 2204.2.62.0 64GB DDR4 3200 XMP POSEIDON 1080i GTX NVIDIA Driver 515.66 WHQL 3TB SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS OMS Driver 18.37.0.1003 WHQL i219 V OROM 0.1.02 BA 0.1.16 12.19.1.37 WHQL AQC 107N FW 3.1.121 AQC 3.1.6.0 WHQL Realtek HD 6.0.9336.1 WHQL SAMSUNG ODYSSEY G9 49 NEO FW 1008 VESA HDR 2000 DP
