GU502 cracking sound while connected to external display via USB-C

Just bought the ROG M GU502, and I've chose this model especially to connect it to my external display via USB-C.

The display is an LG UD88 capable of USB-C charging(sends 57W through USB-C) and also video input through USB-C.

The laptop charges through USB-C(slowly, indeed), but the issue is that at every 10-15 minutes the external display goes black and some cracking sounds are generated from the laptop, I'can't explain the source of them. I've registered the sound here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJRO9_IBQak
