Hi

Since you can boot the notebook, but doesn't get the picture on the screen, I would suggest you to open up the notebook and take out the RAM, insert one RAM at the time to see if it is a faulty RAM you're dealing with.

Could be the back light. Hold it under a bright light or shine a flashlight at an angle to see if there is any activity in the display.
