Zenith Extreme II Alpha Load VGA Bios

Hello, the computer was working perfectly fine. Then one-day wifi wasn't working. I restarted and when it came back up, it wouldn't post nor could i get to the bios. First the board said cmos error, then after clearing cmos (with the button) then it said post error.

So i tried clearing the cmos (button and removing the battery) and flashback w/the latest bio). Now it shows Load VGA bios with the green boot led lit. So i started testing components one at a time. one stick of ram, video card in different slots, m.2 in a slot, usb stick with proxmox on it. It still says load vga bios.

I've tested the m.2, memory and video card in a different pc and they work. Swapped the power supply same thing.

I've read all the posts on the internet regarding cmos error, post error and load vga bios. nothign works. Any other suggestions before RMA? The board is less than 30 days old, but Micro Center only has a 15-day return policy on boards.

i decided to start from the top. so i took everything out. started with 1 stick of ram, hdmi cable (instead of display port) and an old 27" monitor (instead of 49" monitor). i took the wraithripper off because it was blocking the dimm A1 slot. finally got a screen on the monitor. it wasn't the bios, but it did prompt that the bios was reset and default values needed to be set. I didn't want to keep going because the wraithripper was off the CPU.

so because the wraithripper was interfering with the dominator vengeance memory, I put 2 out of 4 sticks in the outer slots. and the board didn't like that. its weird because it booted successfully several times like that. i also see now that the oled screen and leds are useless...load vga bios has nothing to do with ram.

I ordered a corsair AIO that won't block any dimm slots and will return the wraithripper.

thanks for playing

Hi, just to give you what I did to solve the problem of Load VGA Bios error.

After doing a lot of troubleshooting, I found out that it was not the video card the problem, it was a NVME drive that was making this error. The NVME was Gigabyte NVME  GP-ASM2NE6100TTTD 1TB.

Finally, after removing the faulty NVME, everything was fine.

Configuration:

Windows 11 Pro. 22H2 (with all the latest drivers)
Zenith II Extreme (not Alpha) - Bios 1802
CPU AMD ThreadRipper 3970X
Watercooling with Heatsink Heatkiller IV (Quad 4 rads)
Waterpump EKWB D5 Pump
Waterpump Corsair D5 Pump
128GB G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (For AMD Ryzen) Series 64GB (4 x 32GB)  288-Pin RGB DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop  Memory Model F4-3600C18D-64GTZN  and by the way this previous model code does not work together with  F4-3600C18D-32GTZN. It's one model code only.
3 x Kingston NVME KC3000 2TB each
2 x Gigabyte NVME  GP-ASM2NE6100TTTD 1TB each (RAID 0)
5 HDD SATA 3.5"
1 x 1080Ti Geforce Nvidia Strix OC
1 x 3080Ti EVGA FTW3 watercooled
Power Supply Corsair AX1600i 80 PLUS Titanium
