Red Alert 3 on G75VW Notebook Problems

Hi everyone!

I just recently bought a G75VW notebook with the 3610QM processor, Nvidia 670GTX (3GB), 16GB RAM and 750GB 7200rpm HDD.
And I have a really weird problem.
When the laptop is PLUGGED IN and I play Red Alert 3 with the ultra high detail options and 1920x1080 resolution, the game works flawlessly...I have absolutely no problems.
However, when the laptop works ON BATTERY and I choose the "High Performance" battery option, Red Alert 3 under the ultra high detail setting and the 1920x1080 resolution bogs the machine down and causes quite noticeable lag and freezing.
Any idea how I can fix this?
FYI, I did go through the power settings and made it so that the minimum processor state should be 100% even when the laptop is on battery - originally that was set at 5% for battery and 100% when plugged-in. This did not help.

Any input shall be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

You need to be plugged in. Too power intensive to run on battery alone.
