Does the N55SF series have any SATA3 ports? Either in the drive bay or for the optical drive? I plan on replacing the optical drive with a harddisk and placing a SSD in the drive bay. If this works at all. Or is this blocked in the BIOS?
Download a free program called HWinfo 64, its free and gives you a description of the sata controller. I know that the N55SF has SATA III, but if you want to find out for yourself, then download it (via a google search of course). looks like this:
Hey, my N55SF has a SATA II HDD in it. But could it really support SATA III in the first place? *I'm thinking of upgrading my HHD to SSD but need to make sure whether N55SF supports SATA III. Thanks in advance.
