Since a G73SW-A1 has arrived, I decided to rip out one of the XT drives, and clone a working partition on my JH unit, and do some comparisons of the 7200.4 vs XT. 🙂

My initial investigations involve boot times, which, based on feedback from other XT owners is where this unit shines, have shown a significant boost in start-time performance.
My findings: (times listed are best of 3 boots)
7200.4 : 43.493 secs
XT: 21.606
FYI: The first XT boot was 70.223 seconds, second was 23.493.
I'll do some benches and test gaming performance later.
