info needed on saved bios settings *.CMO files

Hey all

I have some saved OC'ed bios setups on a USB stick (*.CMO files) and I just updated to the latest bios version on my MVF and now it wont let me use the saves to "reinstall" my OC's it says they are for a different version

just need to know if there is a way of using them or converting the old saved bios settings so they can be used with the new bios version ??

I didn't have any of the settings written down as I "saved" them in case I needed them later !!!

any help would be greatly appreciated..

You can only use a saved file of the same bios version.

There are so many settings and entries that are changed which you can not access when a new bios version is made that trying to force another bios version with different hidden settings is a disaster waiting to happen. Hence it is not possible.

Yeah Cheers man...

I got it fairly sorted now anyways... I remembered that I had saved my 4.2 and 4.5 settings in ROG Exchange.... although I couldn't load the settings (different version issue again) it showed them to me so I just manually added them and saved them again....

thanks heaps anyway....
