Extreme Problem

Hello im having a problem with my new setup. Everytime I turn computer on from a fresh boot I get a windows encountered a problem screen (Windows 8 64) however once it restarts every thing runs fine. I can run benchmarks and games no problem. Like I said this only happens when I first turn on the computer.

I also noticed I get a code "40" on the motherboard when I got the windows 8 error screen. Nothing is overclocked all bios settings are set to default

Any ideas what could be going on?

I am running a 4770K CPU - H100i cooler
32GB RAM Corsair Dominator Platinum
Corsair AX1200i PSU

40 means s4 resume which means cached into HDD and is done by windows 8. let me check how to disable this in windows 8

Disabling fast boot seems to have worked! Thank you!

Ok still ran into same problem. Turned computer back on a few hours later and got windows encountered an error just after the bios boot screen.

is the debug port still at '40'? if 40 it is still s4 resuming
